Your adventure begins here. A little preparation before you arrive will help make your entry into Wicked Woods smooth, safe, and stress-free. Please take a few minutes to review the information below before travelling to the festival.

Before You Arrive

Before leaving for Wicked Woods, please make sure you have completed the following:

  • Claim your ticket(s) through the Ticket Portal.

  • Transfer any extra tickets to your friends before arriving.

  • Purchase a Vehicle Pass if you're bringing a vehicle.

  • Have your government-issued photo ID and ticket QR code ready for check-in.

Planning ahead helps everyone get through the gates faster.

 

Finding Wicked Woods

Look for the black iron gates and the Raven's Nest sign. This is the official entrance to Wicked Woods.

Please follow all festival signage and directions from Gate Crew upon arrival.

Driving Directions & Access

The festival site is located directly off BC Highway 93 (Kootenay Highway), just north of Fairmont Hot Springs.

As you approach the festival entrance, please watch for:

  • Festival signage

  • Traffic control crew

  • The main entrance archway

These will guide you to the official Wicked Woods entrance.

Gate Hours

All times are listed in Mountain Standard Time (MST).

8:00 AM

  • Property opens.

  • Gate operations begin.

  • Vehicle access into camping zones begins.

10:00 PM

  • Roads into camping zones close.

  • No vehicle movement is permitted on-site after 10:00 PM.

10:00 PM – 12:00 AM

  • Guest check-in remains open.

  • Camping access is walk-in only.

  • Vehicles arriving during this time will be parked overnight at the Gate and must be moved into camping beginning at 8:00 AM the following morning.

12:00 AM – 8:00 AM

  • Highway Gate is closed.

  • No entry to the festival property.

  • Security remains on-site for emergency access only.

Thursday Access
Early Entry fees apply for guests arriving on Thursday.

Please Don't Line Up on the Highway

For the safety of guests, crew, and the public, please do not line up along the highway before gates open at 8:00 AM.

If you arrive early, we recommend waiting safely in Fairmont Hot Springs (approaching from the east) or Windermere (approaching from the west) before travelling to the venue when gates open.

Carpool If You Can

Carpooling is one of the easiest ways to improve everyone's arrival experience.

Fewer vehicles mean:

  • More room on-site

  • Savings on Vehicle Passes

Every vehicle entering Wicked Woods requires a valid Vehicle Pass.

Arrive On Time

To ensure enough time for ticketing, security screening, and driving to your campsite, we recommend arriving before 9:00 PM.

Debit and credit are the fastest option and help our Gate Crew move guests through check-in as efficiently as possible.

Get Tickets

  • Yes. Please claim your ticket through the Ticket Portal before arriving to speed up the check-in process.

  • Yes. If you purchased tickets for friends, transfer them through the Ticket Portal before arriving at the festival.

  • Yes. Every vehicle entering Wicked Woods requires a purchased Vehicle Pass. There is no “Free Parking”. Limited supplies remain, get your Woodland Parking Pass or camping pass today.

  • Gate operations begin daily at 8:00 AM (MST).

  • No. Vehicle traffic into camping areas closes at 10:00 PM each night.

    Guests arriving between 10:00 PM and midnight may still check in, but camping access is walk-in only until vehicle access resumes at 8:00 AM.

  • No. The Highway Gate is closed from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, and there is no entry to the property during these hours.

  • Please do not wait along the highway. Instead, wait safely in Fairmont Hot Springs or Windermere and travel to the venue once gates open.

  • Please have your government-issued photo ID and your ticket QR code ready before reaching the Gate Crew.

  • Debit, credit, and cash are all accepted. Debit and credit are the fastest payment methods.

  • Absolutely. Carpooling helps reduce traffic, lowers environmental impact, saves money, and creates more space for everyone on-site.

  • Tickets may be available depending on remaining capacity, but availability is not guaranteed. We strongly recommend purchasing your ticket before travelling to Wicked Woods.
